Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group seeks a Specialty Coder I for a remote position requiring residency in KY or IN. Under supervision, you will code outpatient diagnoses and procedures for clinic-level charges, including E/M, in-office procedures, and surgeries across multiple settings.

You will review records to ensure complete patient care information and code diagnoses and CPT for office and surgical services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Coding certification CPC or CCS-P.
• 1 year experience in Specialty/Surgical Coding.

Responsibilities

• Codes diagnosis and procedures for outpatient physician charges at the Clinic level, including Evaluation and Management levels, in office procedures and surgeries in multiple settings.
• Reviews medical records to facilitate accurate capture of patient care information.
• Codes diagnosis and CPT for office and Surgical services for providers.

Education
