Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Specialty Coder I for a remote position requiring residency in KY or IN. Under supervision, you will code diagnosis and outpatient procedures, including E/M levels, in-office procedures and surgeries across settings.

You will review records to ensure complete documentation and assign CPT and diagnosis codes for office and surgical services. Preferred 2+ years in professional coding; CPC or CCS-P certification is required along with a High School diploma;

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• CPC or CCS-P certification required
• 1 year experience in Specialty/Surgical Coding

Responsabilités

• With supervision, codes diagnosis and CPT for outpatient physician charges at the Clinic level, including Evaluation and Management levels, in-office procedures, surgeries in multiple settings and other clinic/outpatient coding as assigned.
• Reviews medical records thoroughly to facilitate the collection of patient care information.
• Codes diagnosis and CPT for office and Surgical services for providers.
