Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Specialty Coder I to join our outpatient coding team. This remote position requires residency in Kentucky or Indiana and offers the opportunity to code diagnoses and CPT for office and surgical services at the clinic level.

With supervision, you will review medical records to facilitate accurate coding of Evaluation and Management levels and procedures, supporting clean claims and appropriate reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 1 year experience in Specialty/Surgical Coding
• CPC or CCS-P certification required

Responsabilités

• Code diagnosis and CPT for outpatient physician charges at the clinic level (office and surgical)
• Review medical records to facilitate accurate coding and billing
• Assign appropriate Evaluation and Management levels and procedures as assigned
