Job summary

GSK seeks a Specialty Account Specialist to support a territory of Seattle and surrounding areas. You will educate providers, facilitate access and reimbursement, and build strong professional relationships to advance patient care.

The role emphasizes account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and compliant customer engagement. The position is field-based with on-site presence; occasional travel within the territory and beyond is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers, including pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists and practice managers.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
• Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
• Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including market access, medical affairs, and marketing.
• Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
