Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology or related field.
• 4 years of relevant Southern California ecoregions surveys for listed species.
• Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• US citizenship required due to nature of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol surveys for listed species (Crotch’s Bumble Bee, Quino checkerspot butterfly, etc.).
• Conduct focused Western spadefoot and Stephen’s kangaroo rat surveys and monitoring.
• Perform wildlife and botanical surveys, vegetation mapping and data collection.
• Support environmental compliance monitoring and restoration oversight.
• Coordinate with team members and manage field logistics.
