Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking an experienced SPT Account Manager to work remotely with a national client base on special projects related to prior year administration. You will lead client engagements, guide the completion of filings, and ensure compliance timelines while maintaining strong relationships with financial professionals.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of 401(k) plan administration and consulting experience.
• Superior knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing.
• Superior knowledge of 401(a)4 and controlled group testing; mergers and acquisitions experience.
• NIPA or ASPPA credential, ERPA a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business
• High level of critical thinking
• Committed to lifelong learning and coachable

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of clients including current and new clients with missed prior year work.
• Consult and guide clients through completion of prior year work, including timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
• Participate in client calls regarding outstanding requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement corrective actions and bring plans into compliance.
• Cultivate existing client relationships and communicate with principals, clients, and professionals on project plans.
