Job summary

AIR is seeking a Tennessee-based, part-time Special Education Technical Assistance Associate to deliver evidence-based professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to strengthen special education services and outcomes for students with disabilities across Tennessee. The role requires residency in Tennessee with travel within the state.

You will apply IDEA knowledge, develop training resources, and collaborate with education leaders while providing virtual and onsite educator

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree.
At least two years of special education teaching experience or experience supporting PD/coaching projects within an educational organization.
Knowledge of IDEA and related special education requirements.
Experience delivering virtual and onsite professional development and coaching to Tennessee educators.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver technical assistance to clients, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking timelines.
Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address inquiries.
Assist in preparation and distribution of project reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
Maintain and update project documentation and client records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
Assist in development and implementation of client service processes and procedures.
Provide administrative support for client service activities, including data entry and document management.
Monitor and report on project progress and client feedback.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the client service strategy.
