Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Substitute Special Education Teacher to deliver online SPED instruction and manage student progress across multiple schools.

The role requires state-certified SPED licensure and the ability to obtain licensure in several states, with a rotating schedule and remote work flexibility. The position is full-time, typically 40+ hours per week, with a focus on individual student needs through IEPs, data-driven instruction, and collaboration with families

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active Special Education teaching license are required.
• Must obtain additional Special Education licenses in at least three states (up to five preferred) by first day of employment.
• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online instruction and manage learning aligned to each student's IEP goals.
• Provide instruction, support, and guidance; monitor learning progress.
• Communicate regularly with families/learning coaches and document interventions.
• Use data to tailor remediation and enrichment as needed.
• Maintain accurate grade books and monitor student performance.
