Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities under IEPs.

This role collaborates with families, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote academic and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities include developing IEP-based instruction, monitoring progress, maintaining IEP documentation, and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education, or eligibility for certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development and related regulations.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Experience with diverse learning, behavioral, emotional needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on IEP goals.
• Provide instruction with accommodations and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress.
• Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Use research-based instructional strategies and assistive technology.
• Address behavioral and social-emotional needs using positive behavior supports.
• Work with school counselors, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and school policies.
• Participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
