Qualifications

• Requires MN Special Education Teaching License.
• Location in north central Minnesota preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to design instructional activities and adjust teaching strategies.
• Experience coordinating IEP processes with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead special education evaluations including evaluation planning and summary reports.
• Administer assessments to identify strengths and needs in academic and behavioral areas.
• Plan and facilitate the Individualized Education Plan process.
• Support students to increase motivation and track progress over time.
• Implement intervention strategies to enhance achievement and pro-social skills.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies regarding IEP needs.
