Stride, Inc. is seeking a Special Education Assistant Coordinator to support the Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) in delivering compliant, student-centered Special Education services.

This remote position requires collaboration with the Special Education Coordinator to ensure program goals are met. Applicants should have a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and at least two years of related experience; knowledge of state standards and regulations is important.

Qualifications

• Two years of related work experience
• Understanding of state standards and state/federal regulations
• Ability to travel 20% of the time for testing, professional development and meetings
• Must pass required background check

Responsabilités

• Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Special Education program
• Support design of a results-oriented program aligned with K12 curriculum
• Help ensure teachers in Special Education meet applicable standards and expectations
• Promote professional development of teachers through targeted training
• Assist with compliance documentation required by state for Special Education programs
