Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a part-time Special Education Assistant Coordinator to support the Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) and ensure the program meets state and federal requirements. The role is home-based with occasional office days in Maumee, OH.

Qualifications

Understanding of state standards, state and federal regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to travel up to 20% for testing, professional development and meetings.
Willingness and ability to obtain Ohio Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with development and implementation of all policies and procedures related to the Special Education program.
Help ensure teachers meet state standards and expectations in Special Education programs.
Assist with compliance documentation for state requirements.
Develop and disseminate best practices for Special Education in virtual settings.
