Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Remote Spanish Contract Interpreters to support its OnDemand PropioONE service. The role requires consecutive interpretation, adherence to privacy, ethics, and HIPAA constraints, and completion of Propio's medical terminology modules.

Resume and English proficiency testing are required. Applicants should have a passing score on Propio's medical terminology assessment, and undergo a background check and security screening.

Qualifications

• Resume in English at time of Application.
• English Language Proficiency with ILR level 3+.
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• A full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients, such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
