Job summary

Propio Language Services in the United States is seeking remote Spanish contract interpreters for its PropioONE OnDemand service. You will provide consecutive interpretation and follow client protocols while upholding confidentiality and interpreter ethics.

Candidates must submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR level 3+ technical proficiency, complete Propio’s Medical Terminology assessment, pass a Mockoral session, undergo a full background check, and commit to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a language rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on the ILR scale).
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session with a passing score.
• Completion of Propio’s online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment, with a passing score.
• A full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients.
