Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a talented GNC/ADCS engineer to join our team. The role spans control-system analysis, design, and collaboration across disciplines to craft elegant spacecraft solutions. This position can be performed remotely from an approved location.

You will design and implement GNC architectures in embedded C++, define requirements, perform analyses, and contribute to ground-processing and offline geolocation pipelines, with on-call support for on-orbit anomalies.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree plus 2–3 years of professional experience, OR substantial hands-on GNC experience.
• Strong C++ software skills and knowledge of control/optimization theory.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and implementing ADCS/GNC subsystems for spacecraft.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GNC architectures and algorithms in embedded C++.
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware and related systems.
• Analyze and simulate mission-specific GNC performance.
• Collaborate on ground-processing algorithms for sensor calibration.
• Develop an offline geolocation processing pipeline.
• Support anomaly resolution of on-orbit systems and on-call duties.
• Assist in software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning and validation.
