Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or another STEM field.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in engineering or mission-focused technical areas.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop recommendations, and support mission outcomes.
  • Experience communicating complex concepts to peers, leaders, and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering knowledge across targeted areas including systems engineering, program management, communications and PNT, electronics and sensors, software and data engineering, data science and AI/ML, cybersecurity, flight vehicle systems, and mechanical systems and materials.
  • Support technical analysis, requirements development, integration, testing, modeling, evaluation, or execution activities.
  • Partner with customer-facing and program teams in Chantilly to support space and national security priorities.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate mission needs into actionable engineering solutions and recommendations.
  • Align technical work with program objectives and anticipate downstream impacts.
  • Engage with leadership to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Foster innovation and deliver high-quality products, analysis, or recommendations.
