Job summary

Sazerac Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Space Planning Analyst to translate shopper insights into optimal shelf layouts and category strategies.

You'll collaborate across functions, lead retailer discussions, and drive planogram analyses and resets to boost share of shelf. Remote work possible with up to 15% travel, requiring strong analytics and data visualization skills and experience with space planning software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in space planning, category management, or retail analytics.
• Proficiency with planogram software (JDA/Blue Yonder, Spaceman, Apollo, SMSB).
• Experience working with syndicated data sources (Circana/IRI, Nielsen).
• Strong Excel, Power BI, or Tableau skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Convert consumer/shopper insights, sales data, and category strategies into effective shelf layouts that optimize performance and shopper flow.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to lead retailer discussions with data-driven shelving recommendations and visuals.
• Evaluate planogram effectiveness and drive shelf-share optimization for retail/wholesale partners.
• Lead planogram reset projects, coordinating timelines and cross-functional teams for successful execution.
• Support ad hoc projects related to assortment and shelving.
