Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the food service operation at a Dexterra workforce accommodations facility. You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across culinary functions, ensuring food safety, quality, and client satisfaction at scale.

Initially serving 500 meals daily, with rapid growth planned to 4,000+ meals per day. You will report to the Executive Chef, participate in menu planning, procurement, production, staffing, and training, while maintaining Dexterra food

Qualifications

• Culinary education or Chef designation is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 5 years in hospitality or food service.
• Experience leading large-volume kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food service operation serving 500+ guests daily, scaling to 4,000+.
• Plan menus, procurement, production, and staffing.
• Coach and develop the culinary team.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Monitor inventory, costs, and vendor relationships.
