Jobgether SRL, partnering with a US-based client, seeks a Sourcing RFQ Engineer to evaluate manufacturing requirements and generate accurate, competitive quotes in a global digital marketplace.

You will analyze CAD models, select processes, perform cost analyses, and collaborate with Sales and Engineering to deliver timely, technically sound quotations while supporting workflow optimization in a remote, international role.

Formación

• Higher technical education in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Process Engineering or related.
• At least 6 years in metalworking or related manufacturing field.
• Expert knowledge of turning, milling, CNC, EDM, laser, waterjet, plasma cutting, sheet metal, grinding, welding.
• Knowledge of post-processing: polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sandblasting, coatings, painting.
• Understanding of metals, plastics, and composites processing.
• Strong drawing interpretation with manufacturability assessment.
• Experience with tooling/fixture design for machining, assembly, welding.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CypCut; willing to grow further.
• English proficiency at B2+; strong technical communication.
• Customer-oriented, detail-focused, able to manage priorities under deadlines.
• Comfort with CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud-based tools; remote-ready.

Responsabilidades

• Assess requirements, determine feasibility, and prepare quotations.
• Analyze drawings and CAD models to understand specs and production needs.
• Calculate costs including materials, hours, labor, and post-processing.
• Recommend manufacturing processes based on geometry, materials, production needs and cost.
• Review drawings/models for manufacturability and provide DFM feedback.
• Prepare RFQs with Sales and Engineering teams.
• Document assessments and cost calculations for Sales transfer.
• Prepare high-quality quotations with fast turnaround.
• Maintain quotation databases to ensure pricing accuracy.
• Support workflow optimization and automation to improve quoting.
• Evaluate machining, fabrication, and finishing across materials.
