Job summary

Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to drive Chemicals and Contract Manufacturing sourcing strategy and supplier negotiations. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing and sits within the Supply Chain and Ops Excellence group based in Torrance, CA.

You will lead cost‑reduction initiatives, manage RFI/RFP processes, and collaborate with global stakeholders to secure long‑term value. Travel up to 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, SCM, Finance or Logistics.
• 5+ years in Sourcing in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or related CHEMICAL sourcing.
• Experience managing RFI/RFP workflow through to supplier business award and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and execution of Chemicals and Contract Manufacturing sourcing strategy.
• Lead supplier negotiations and global stakeholder management.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers.
• Identify and execute risk mitigation and security of supply strategies.
