Job summary

Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Project Manager to drive end-to-end New Product Development and value engineering for separations consumables in a collaborative R&D setting in Torrance, CA. The role requires leading cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, budget and QMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 3+ years of project management experience, including at least one product development program to launch.
• Experience with stage-gate/design control in regulated environments (ISO-based QMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and MS Project; risk management to translate uncertainty into executable plans.
• On-site attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver NPD programs from concept to launch.
• Drive stage-gate/tollgate execution with clear deliverables and decision readiness.
• Build and manage the integrated project plan, tracking risks and resources.
• Establish governance and stakeholder alignment, coordinating external vendors as needed.
• Own performance reporting and continuous improvement using DBS standards.
