Job summary

Salted is seeking a seasoned Sourcing & Product Commercialization leader to drive the end-to-end bring-to-market of new ingredients and items. You will partner with brand and culinary teams to source, qualify, and negotiate with co-manufacturers and suppliers, building solid cost models and demand plans.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will own supplier qualification, pricing terms, and forecasting to secure scale, quality, and compliance across our kitchens.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in sourcing, procurement, or product commercialization in food manufacturing, restaurant, or CPG.
• Experience finding, qualifying, and managing co-manufacturers from concept to production.
• Proven negotiation experience covering pricing, terms, and volume commitments.
• Cross-functional leadership with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, allergen controls, and labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify co-manufacturers and suppliers for new items.
• Build landed cost and yield models; run make-versus-buy analyses.
• Lead RFIs and RFPs; negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms.
• Own demand planning for new and transitioning items across kitchens.
• Maintain specs, documentation, and supplier records for new items.
