Job summary

onPhase seeks a Solutions Engineer to be the technical partner for our Sales team, digging into customer workflows, scoping the right solution, and demoing how onPhase solves challenges. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, represent us at events, and translate finance knowledge into business value.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in related roles, strong presentation and communication skills, and familiarity with Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and vendor

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related roles in enterprise software.
• Working knowledge of accounting and finance operations, especially Accounts Payable, invoice processing, approval workflows, vendor management, or payments.
• Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into business value.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to develop solution strategies for customer engagements.
• Technical aptitude and understanding of software integrations, business workflows, and enterprise environments.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for quarterly trade shows, onsite meetings, and events.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to understand customer challenges, align solution strategy, answer technical questions, and deliver presentations that move deals forward.
• Consult and demo through process discovery and scoping, translating requirements into tailored demonstrations.
• Bring finance expertise to guide solution positioning across Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and vendor management.
• Evaluate integration requirements, data flows, document capture, and workflow configurations; validate feasibility with internal teams.
• Represent onPhase by supporting webinars, product presentations, and industry events to build awareness and showcase capabilities.
• Connect the dots across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to share customer needs and market insights.
