Job summary

EDB is seeking a Solution Developer to join our engineering team. This fully remote role targets candidates in EST or CST regions. You will blend full-stack web work, data pipeline engineering, and cloud infrastructure management to design, build, and maintain applications spanning UIs and back-end automation.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and eager to adopt evolving technologies in a dynamic stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Deep understanding of the Next.js framework.
• Strong API development and integrations experience.
• Proven Python experience for apps or data work.
• Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience with data tooling (dbt) and workflow tools (Airflow).
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier).
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL database management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable Python for backend services and data processing.
• Build and monitor automated workflows and data pipelines with Airflow and dbt.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Manage and deploy applications within AWS with best-practice security.
• Optimize PostgreSQL performance and manage data migrations.
• Learn and implement new frameworks or tools as needed.
