Job summary

EDB is seeking a Solution Developer to join our engineering team. The role blends full-stack web development, data pipeline engineering, and cloud infra management to design, build, and maintain applications with both user interfaces and backend automation.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist comfortable across JavaScript/Python stacks, eager to adopt new technologies as our stack evolves. 100% remote for EST/CST candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript & Node.js experience with Next.js
• API development and integrations experience
• Proficient in Python for application development or data engineering
• AWS core services knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Experience with data pipelines: dbt and Airflow
• Workflow automation tools such as n8n or Zapier
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL database management
• Git version control and CI/CD workflows
• Able to switch between UI tasks and data pipelines
• Problem-solving and continuous learning mindset

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web apps using Next.js and Node.js
• Write clean, maintainable Python back-end services and data processing scripts
• Build and monitor automated workflows and data pipelines with Airflow and dbt
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs
• Manage and deploy applications in AWS environment with best practices
• Optimize PostgreSQL performance and data migrations
• Learn and adopt new frameworks/tools as needed
