Job summary

EDB is seeking a Solution Developer to join our engineering team. This role blends full-stack web development, data pipeline engineering, and cloud infrastructure management. You will design, build, and maintain applications that involve both user-facing interfaces and complex back-end automation.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist who is comfortable working across multiple languages (JavaScript and Python) and is eager to adopt new technologies as our stack evolves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript & Node.js; deep understanding of Next.js; strong experience with API development & integrations
• Proven experience using Python for application development or data engineering
• Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Experience in Pipeline Development, transforming data with dbt and workflow tools like Airflow
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, or custom-built solutions)
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL database management (schema designs; complex queries and optimization)
• Proficient in Git version control and implementing CI/CD workflows for stable delivery
• Ability to switch between programming languages and technical domains
• Track record of solving technical bottlenecks and learning new technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python for backend services and data processing tasks.
• Build and monitor automated workflows and data pipelines with Airflow and dbt.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Manage and deploy applications in an AWS environment following cloud best practices.
• Optimize database performance and handle data migrations in PostgreSQL.
• Quickly learn and implement new frameworks or tools as required by projects.
