Job summary

Appliedcontrol is seeking a Solutions Consultant – Performance Software to help customers improve operational performance, safety, reliability, and workforce effectiveness through Emerson and AspenTech solutions. The role focuses on Alarm Management (AgileOps) and simulation tools (PredictPro, Mimic, HYSYS) across oil, gas, mining, energy, and related industries.

You will translate customer needs into strategies, deliver demonstrations, and collaborate with sales and delivery teams to shape

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience with alarm management, process simulation, operator training systems, process modeling, or industrial performance software.
Familiarity with Emerson and/or AspenTech platforms, especially AgileOps, PredictPro, Mimic, HYSYS, or related solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead Emerson Performance Software opportunities through each sales stage from discovery to transition to project execution.
Position alarm management and simulation solutions to address customer needs and improve performance.
Translate requirements into solution strategies, scopes, and value-based recommendations.
Deliver executive briefings, workshops, and demonstrations showcasing alarm management and dynamic simulation.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, delivery, and partners to develop proposals and implementation plans.
Act as trusted advisor on alarm rationalization, operator effectiveness, and sustainment needs.
