Job summary

OTAVA is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with Account Executives in designing cloud, colocation, data protection, DR, storage, and networking solutions. You will present architectures and act as a trusted advisor across sales cycles.

The role requires 3+ years in pre-sales tech roles and 6+ years in data-center/cloud environments, with certifications encouraged. Remote work and a strong compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Solutions Architecture/Sales Engineering or similar pre-sales role
• 6+ years in data center, cloud, hosted infrastructure, engineering, or related tech roles
• Experience designing cloud, hosted infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with Veeam and Zerto for DR/BCP
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Executives to understand business requirements and technical constraints
• Design end-to-end technology solutions using VMware, Fortinet, Zerto, Veeam, and OTAVA platforms
• Develop detailed technical designs and diagrams plus scopes of work
• Provide technical leadership across the sales lifecycle and align with OTAVA best practices
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to clients and prospects
• Present solution architectures to technical and executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams
• Support account management and renewal activities for existing customers
• Maintain knowledge of OTAVA technologies and industry trends
• Balance multiple opportunities while supporting several Account Executives
• Contribute toward assigned sales objectives in quota-bearing role
