Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking a Manager, Solution Consulting for the Epic Portfolio. This role leads a pre-sales team, partners with Sales, and delivers executive-level product demonstrations to drive strategic deals across the Epic platform.

The role supports remote US work with up to 50% travel, focusing on creating business value and strong client partnerships in the insurance technology space.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C insurance agency/brokerage experience and/or Epic or comparable SaaS sales experience.
• 3+ years in Solution Consulting, pre-sales, or sales engineering with prior people management experience.
• Working knowledge of configuring, testing, and using AI-based products.
• Strong professional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Organized and analytical with keen critical thinking.
• Customer-focused with relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Solution Consultants, managing performance and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Services.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations of Epic Conductor, articulating both technical and business value to agency leadership.
• Partner with Sales to drive resource strategy, pipeline coverage, and account planning.
• Engage with strategic accounts to model consultative selling and support key deals.
• Align with Product Marketing/Management on roadmap, releases, and enablement.
• Coordinate site visits and executive demonstrations for clients.
• Ensure smooth handoffs to implementation teams and services.
