Litify is powering a new era for the legal industry and seeks a Solution Architect, Legal Billing to lead time, billing, and financial work for client implementations. You’ll design and deliver time entry, expense tracking, billing, and collections workflows on the Litify platform, working with firm billing teams, finance staff, and partners.

You will learn how they capture time and costs and translate that into a sound Litify design through go-live, with workshops, UAT, and training.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license or CPA-eligible status preferred.
• Legal billing experience: 3+ years in law firm billing or finance, or at a legal time and billing software company.
• Software implementation and technical experience: 3+ years implementing or consulting on time, billing, or financial software, including data migration and integrations.
• Client delivery: runs workshops with firm billing teams, finance staff, and partners, presents to executives, and manages multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead discovery with firm billing and finance teams to map how they capture time and expenses, review pre-bills, issue invoices, and collect payment.
• Design billing setups on Litify and Salesforce: timekeeper and client-matter rates, rate hierarchies and overrides, fee arrangements, and invoice templates.
• Configure time and expense capture, including activity and task codes, hard and soft costs, cost recovery, and markups.
• Build pre-bill review and approval workflows, including write-ups, write-downs, and billing adjustments.
• Set up e-billing for clients that require it, including LEDES file formats, UTBMS codes, and outside counsel billing guidelines.
• Design AR and collections processes, including payments, retainers, applying trust funds to invoices, and client statements.
• Deliver billing and financial reporting: WIP, realization, timekeeper utilization, aged AR, and collections.
• Plan and support migration of open WIP, unbilled costs, and AR balances from legacy systems, with reconciliation to the source.
• Configure and test the solution with Litify developers and other Solution Architects.
• Run workshops, UAT, training, and go-live support with client billing, finance, and operations staff.
• Keep project status, risks, and documentation current.
• Feed field learnings back to Product and Professional Services to improve the billing offering.
