Job summary

MorningSky Power in Tulsa, Oklahoma, seeks a Manager, Development to lead the day-to-day development of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the WECC and SPP regions. Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience developing utility-scale solar PV or energy storage projects.
• Experience in WECC and SPP markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development of multiple utility-scale solar and storage projects from site control to NTP.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with landowners, officials, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project records, budgets, schedules, contracts, and communications in SiteTracker.
• Identify risks and critical path items and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities and advance milestones.
• Support project financings by coordinating due diligence and responses to investors.
• Manage relationships with consultants, utilities, development partners, and third parties.
• Perform due diligence on new project opportunities and partnerships.
• Negotiate and manage land, development, and consultant contracts as needed.
