Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on the environment? Do you have excellent sales or communication skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Solar Sales Consultant at Wolf River Electric.

Job Overview

In this role, you will call leads that are available to you. You will educate customers on the benefits of owning solar instead of renting their energy from the utility company at a continually escalating rate. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the process of transitioning to solar power.

Responsibilities
  1. Make friends: We only hire likable people because it is critical in getting people to go solar. If they like you, they pay attention. If they pay attention, they absorb the education. If they are educated, they will go solar because it’s a no-brainer.
  2. Use Technology: Because we are working virtually, you must be able to learn how to share your screen and walk through a solar education presentation. You will also be using a CRM to input information and keep organized.
  3. Educate Customers: Owning solar is a no-brainer but our customers won’t realize that until you educate them. We give you a mentorship full of education to fast track your success; you just need to bring the personality.
  4. Becoming a Subject Matter Expert: You may not know anything about solar yet and that’s ok, but you’ll need to master the topic so you can understand and meet your customer’s needs.
  5. Complete the Paperwork: To get paid, you have to correctly complete all the documents. You must walk the customer through completing their lending documents and the contract then submit them correctly in a timely manner.
  6. Be a Good Person: We only want people who are honest and who want to help people save money. If you are willing to treat every customer like your own Mom, we want you on our team to give exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with customers.
  7. Become a Leader: Because we are growing, we will need more and more leadership along the way. Once you get your feet on the ground, our new hires will look to your example to see how it’s done. If you can provide that leadership, we promote quickly from within.
Experience

You are likable. No, really, that’s it! We can teach you solar and we can teach you sales, but we can’t teach you to be likable. If you have charisma and integrity, you should try this career; you’ll be great and we need you!

Compensation

This position is 100% commission but the commission is HUGE

This position is on target for 6-figures. If you do not have dedication to give us, you will not find the success you are looking for!

Our average Solar Empowerment Consultants makes $120,000 in their first 12 months

Our top-tier Solar Empowerment Consultants make over $250,000 per year

If you can be disciplined while working from home and put in honest time, you should have no problem making $100,000+ per year.
