Job summary

Sletten Companies is seeking a Solar Project Manager to guide solar energy projects from concept through commissioning. You will coordinate between engineers, installers, clients and vendors, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure quality and safety throughout the installation process.

This is a full-time, remote, exempt position with periodic travel to project sites across the United States. The role requires strong leadership, communication skills and a hands-on approach to executing complex

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with solar/energy projects or related construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Experience dealing with owner contracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work.
• Experience leading successful project teams and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions.
• OSHA 30 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Director and Operations on project buyout, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Oversee pay requests, job cost reports and forecast costs.
• Review and approve material orders and installation work plans.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors and owners to reflect EPC's core values.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, analyze bids and ensure submittal compliance.
