Job summary

Nautilus Solar Energy is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to execute project financings and provide strategic analysis for its expanding solar portfolio. This fully remote role requires strong financial modeling and occasional travel.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in project finance or related fields, with proficiency in Excel, valuation, and debt/tax equity structures, plus ability to collaborate across engineering, finance and legal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in project finance, investment banking, or related field.
• Experience in renewable energy project finance is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modeling, analysis and valuation of infrastructure or energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models including project finance models, DCF and valuation.
• Evaluate investment opportunities; perform scenario analysis and portfolio risk review.
• Prepare quarterly valuation of a 200+ project portfolio for Executive Team.
• Support debt, tax equity origination and term sheet negotiations.
• Coordinate with lenders and investors to secure project funding.
• Track expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets; provide updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance and legal teams on project development.
