Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support testing, validation, and delivery of named products and systems within the Quality Engineering team.

You will apply SDLC testing practices, perform manual and automated testing, prepare validation documentation, and collaborate with Software Engineering, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and compliance. The role emphasizes risk-based testing, automated regression with Playwright, and participation in CI/CD test

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of software QA/test engineering experience; clinical trial or life sciences domain experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise test management tools such as Zephyr (or Xray/TestRail) or Helix ALM (Test Track).
• Experience executing automated regression suites with Playwright.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, risk-based testing, and validation life cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design documentation to ensure clear, testable requirements aligned with trial protocol and system design.
• Develop and execute test and validation activities; maintain CSV documentation, test scripts, and traceability.
• Contribute to automated test suites across UI, API, and real-time components using Playwright.
• Maintain test cases, execution cycles, and traceability in Zephyr and JIRA.
• Conduct comprehensive manual regression testing to ensure release quality.
