Zusammenfassung

SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate. The position is described as 100% remote, with work based in the United States and occasional travel up to 10%.

You will plan, develop, and execute test cases for web applications, APIs, and database components. Candidates should have a BS degree with two years of practical experience (six years accepted in lieu of a degree), plus experience with Agile software

Qualifikationen

• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and database-driven systems.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and defect tracking processes.
• Experience with test management or defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL (ability to query databases for validation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to continuously improve testing practices and technical skill sets.

Aufgaben

• Plan, develop, and execute test cases for web applications, APIs, and supporting database components.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing following Agile software development principles.
• Document test results, track defects, and verify resolution through collaboration with developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Validate integration with Microsoft SQL databases and verify data integrity across systems.
• Support test automation initiatives where applicable.
