Job summary

Dexcom seeks a Software Test Development Engineer I to join the V&V team. You will develop automated backend and UI test solutions for web apps, and design APIs to support updates to portals, notifications, reporting, and documentation generation.

You will integrate Jira, TestRail, GitHub and cloud services, contribute to CI/CD automation with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and help strengthen validation frameworks in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated backend and UI test solutions for web-based applications.
• Design and implement APIs and service endpoints to support automated updates to web portals, notifications, reporting, and documentation generation.
• Create integrations between enterprise tools such as Jira, TestRail, Slack, GitHub, and Datadog to streamline workflows and automate data transfers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
• Measure and track automation effectiveness, including ROI and quality metrics, to drive informed decision-making.
• Partner with Software Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Product Owners, and Regulatory teams to define project scope and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of validation frameworks and testing infrastructure that support the company's software portfolio.
