Job summary
LMI is seeking an experienced Software Systems Architect to lead team-level solution design for the ATIS program under SAFe. This role is highly technical and hands-on, collaborating with developers, Product Management, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and Solution Architecture to translate mission needs into implementable designs.
The ideal candidate has strong architectural judgment, 7+ years in software/architecture, DoD clearance or ability to obtain, cloud/AWS experience, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering/architecture experience.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- RESTful API design and integration.
- Hands-on collaboration with developers through design and reviews.
- Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Lead team-level solution design translating requirements into technical designs.
- Develop and maintain architectural runway and patterns.
- Guide interface and integration design across apps and data sources.
- Define non-functional requirements including security and performance.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, PM and QA teams.
- Work hands-on with developers through design sessions and reviews.
- Maintain architecture diagrams and documentation.
- Reduce architectural debt and risk.
