Job summary

Kreative Technologies, LLC is seeking a Test Technician to run software tests, log results, and report defects for client applications. You will follow test scripts, capture evidence, and help ensure releases work as expected.

The role is remote within the US with opportunities to interact with development teams and QA engineers. The ideal candidate has 1+ year in software testing, detail orientation, and familiarity with Jira/ALM/Azure DevOps; ISTQB is a plus.

Qualifications

1+ year of software testing, QA or technical support experience.
Experience following written test procedures and documenting results.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Executes manual test cases and test scripts according to test plans.
Records test results and captures evidence such as screenshots.
Logs defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected results and actual results.
Retests fixed defects and runs regression tests.
Prepares and maintains test data.
Assists with updating test cases and test documentation.
Supports user acceptance testing as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
