Job summary

Kreative Technologies, LLC is seeking a Test Technician to run software tests and report results for client applications. You will follow test scripts, log defects clearly, and help ensure releases work as expected.

The ideal candidate is careful, patient, and detail-oriented, comfortable repeating test steps and describing problems for developers. Responsibilities include executing manual test cases, recording results with screenshots, logging defects with steps to reproduce, and retesting

Qualifications

1+ year of software testing, quality assurance or technical support experience.
Experience following written test procedures and documenting results.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Executes manual test cases and test scripts according to test plans.
Records test results and captures evidence such as screenshots.
Logs defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected results and actual results.
Retests fixed defects and runs regression tests.
Prepares and maintains test data.
Assists with updating test cases and test documentation.
Supports user acceptance testing as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
