Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Software QA and Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team. You will ensure high-quality software and services for internal customers, testing solutions, and coordinating with external teams.

The role supports our construction management, data monitoring, analytics, and reporting software. It offers fully remote work or hybrid options with occasional office presence in the US.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience writing automated tests for TS or Python code bases.
• 5+ years of software QA testing.

Responsibilities

• Achieve expert understanding of our custom software features and integrations.
• Prioritize and manage testing work independently using Jira and release timelines.
• Coordinate functional, regression, negative, and ad-hoc testing with QA peers.
• Write comprehensive test cases covering functional scenarios.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing via automation and AI.
• Support self-sufficiency in the test environment with Git/GitHub basics.
• Serve as first contact for support and document reproducible bug reports.
