You will drive technical discussions, coach engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet objectives. Remote-friendly role with some travel likely; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of software development experience.
• 10+ years in C#.Net, SQL Server, and source control.
• 5+ years cloud experience (AWS or Azure), MVC, automated testing, Jenkins.
• 2+ years direct supervision of software developers.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, Scrum, Confluence, UML, Swagger.
• Experience with MSTest and NUnit testing frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, OpenAPI, and CI/CD.
• Experience conducting formal performance reviews via Workday or similar.
• Experience with caching, algorithm/DB optimizations.
• Experience with Jira and Teams or Slack.
• Experience with MS Project, Trello or Wrike.
• Pair programming experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Role is 100% remote; up to 10% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of a product and leading a small software engineering team.
• Provide hands-on guidance in coding, architecture, and system design.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and drive innovation.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and review team code.
• Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to leadership.
• Define architecture and respond to customer inquiries about function and design.
• Lead Scrum meetings and end-of-sprint/project retrospectives.
• Plan, delegate, and direct day-to-day work to meet objectives.
• Assist in staffing decisions and participate in interviews.
