CSC Corptax is seeking a Software Engineer in Chicago to help build the next generation of tax preparation products. The role offers remote work within the United States.

You will design, build, and maintain core product systems across data ingestion, computation, UI, and regulatory output, owning features end-to-end from requirements to release and iteration based on client feedback. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; 1–3 years of industry experience expected.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#/.Net.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, relational databases, version control, and CI/CD.
• Quality-focused development with tests, and a product-minded approach.
• Ability to learn a complex domain quickly and work with researchers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain core product systems across data ingestion, computation, UI, and regulatory output.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements through design, build, release, and iteration.
• Write clean, well-tested code and own tests and tooling.
• Work on systems where data security is a priority.
• Turn research prototypes into scalable production code.
• Write and review design documents and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, standards, and engineering practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, security, and reliability.
• Document systems and decisions to enable fast, safe movement.
