Job summary

Jobs in JS in Chicago seeks a Software Engineer I to design and implement features for Tax practice applications within a hybrid team. You will contribute as a developer in an Agile environment, delivering innovative tax products and solutions.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing web and cloud solutions with C#, ASP.NET, Web API; reviewing requirements; ensuring code quality; collaborating with leads, clients, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/STEM/Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a technology role (preferred)
• Experience with web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and Web API
• Experience with Azure SQL and NO-SQL DBs (preferred)
• Experience with JavaScript libraries including TypeScript and Angular, React, or similar (preferred)
• Azure Fundamentals (Az-900) or Microsoft Developer Associate or similar certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and test software solutions using web and cloud-based technologies
• Apply modern software engineering principles across the lifecycle including DevOps, reviews, and release management
• Analyze business requirements with leads, teams, clients to deliver quality software
• Ensure code quality and performance per standards
• Escalate critical issues and implement timely resolutions
• Provide technical support for specific applications
• Perform other duties as required
