The role emphasizes testing in an Agile/Scrum environment, mentoring juniors, and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in performance testing.
Experience with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, claims processing, payer/provider).
Proficiency with performance testing tools listed (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad).
Familiarity with monitoring/profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for healthcare applications.
Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve scalability and responsiveness.
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, developers, and product owners to identify bottlenecks early in SDLC.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions across app, DB, and infrastructure layers.
Lead performance tuning of apps, DBs, APIs, and cloud infra (AWS/Azure).
Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for healthcare apps.
Mentor junior performance engineers and promote best practices.
Drive shift-left performance testing and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
