Job summary

HealthEdge is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to analyze, design, and develop software for Provider Data Management. You will work on our newest product from end to end, building scalable cloud-native, multi-tenant data services and pipelines.

You will join a global engineering team, own SDLC for database components, apply AI tooling to accelerate work, and collaborate on architecture while meeting security and performance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data modeling and data management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server or similar.
• Ability to write advanced SQL scripts, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers & constraints.
• Experience with Python and Linux shell scripting.
• Airflow experience (preferred).
• AWS or another major cloud provider experience (preferred).
• DB performance tuning techniques and tools.
• Strong analytical and Agile/Scrum skills.
• Healthcare domain experience with HL7 or FHIR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop data services and tools to enable core Product capabilities.
• Develop and test cloud-native, large-scale, scalable, distributed data pipelines for multi-tenant systems.
• Partner with peers to make quality design and engineering decisions.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate engineering.
• Take ownership of the software development lifecycle for database components.
• Evaluate new technology solutions and trade-offs.
• Participate in R&D, PoCs, prototyping, and code reviews.
• Ensure software meets non-functional requirements including security and operations.
• Handle and manage multiple tracks of work in parallel.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively.
