One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications used by internal teams and customers. You will work with business analysts, product managers, and peers to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of development experience, a bachelor's degree in CS or related field, and strong communication skills. This remote-first role emphasizes collaboration and reliable software delivery.

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (SDLC).
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC standards and develops program logic for new applications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully.
• Gathers requirements and translates them into product designs.
• Writes technical specifications and other documentation.
• Suggests technical alternatives and improves processes.
