Job summary

One Call, a remote-first company, seeks a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and maintain applications used by internal partners and customers. You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and teammates to deliver tasks on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field, familiarity with SDLC methodologies, strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support on defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications and analyzes/modifies logic in existing applications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
