Job summary

One Call seeks a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, implement, and support software used by internal partners and external customers. You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and engineers to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery and meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, solid SDLC knowledge, and strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile)
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to share relevant technical knowledge with others
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team while aligning with DE&I standards

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards
• Develops program logic for new applications or modifies existing logic
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully
• Writes technical specifications and documentation
• Suggests technical alternatives and streamlines processes
• May provide leadership to other technical professionals
