Job summary

One Call is hiring a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and support software applications used by internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate with product managers, analysts, and other engineers to deliver quality solutions within planned budgets and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, and typically 2–5 years of development experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Proficiency in requirements definition and business modeling.
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC standards and develops or modifies application logic.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components and ensures system improvements.
• Analyzes requirements and translates them into product designs; writes technical specs.
• May provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.
